DIY / Garage Air Compressors The air compressors in this category are typically 2HP to 2.5HP pumps on 24lt pumps. They are designed for light use. For example, blowing up car tyres or blowing down work tops. They are all direct drive, and some are oil-free compressors Maximum CFM (FAD) = 6.5
Workshop / Semi-Pro Air Compressors These compressors all have at least 3hp pumps on 50lt - 100lt tanks. Mostly direct drive, some belt driven compressors. Professional/Industrial Air Compressors Some sinlge phase but mostly three phase, these air compressors are designed for a professional environment. Rotary Screw Air Compressors For use in industrial factories, or where continuous use is required. Rotary screw compressors are the powerhouse to any manfacuturing company. Available with large tanks and dryers. Maximum CFM (FAD) = 15
